CAA: Milky Way Stellar populations using Gaia

Our speaker tonight, Dr Anke Ardern-Arentsen, is an observational astronomer in the field of Galactic Archaeology. She works on the formation and evolution of the ancient Milky Way and the first stellar structures in the early Universe, using observations of old, metal-poor stars.
