About The Event
The cycles of the earth are strongly influenced by astronomical events. This week we'll try to explain that relationship by looking at:
- The Seasons
- The Milankovitch cycles - relating to the orbit of the earth around the sun
- Sunspot cycles, and
- Snowball earth
As usual, we'll be doing some astronomical modelling during the second half of the session
