About The Event
This weeks young astronomers session is a hands on event. Â
We'll start by looking at the different types of telescope (refractor, reflector and other optical designs) and also the different types of mount that astronomers use to make observing as easy as possible.
Once we've covered the basics, we will to a tour of the telescopes on the Madingley Road site, and also look at some amateur telescopes that you might think about using at home.
