Mon 14 Dec

Is there anybody out there? We have been monitoring the skies for nearly a century to try to answer that question. What have we found and how are we doing it? What will happen if we find one? Come along this month to hear the discussion.

About The Event
You might well have heard of the "Wow" signal received on August 15th, 1977 by the "Big Ear" observatory (aka the Ohio State University Radio Observatory), but this is just one of many signals from space that have arrived over the years.
This month, our team will present some of the most interesting and mysterious, and provide an update on what we think they are, who or what sent them, and what we are doing now to find more.
There is no need to register in advance for this event. Entrance is free for CAA members. We ask non-members to make a £2 contribution to the tea and cake fund on entrance.
